Nationwide managed services · Multi-site rollout playbook · In-house field team

The five things hospitality IT has to get right.

We've been doing this long enough to know what actually breaks, and what separates an IT partner that understands hospitality from one that's just trying to.

01

Uptime is revenue.

When your POS goes down during a Friday dinner rush, the cost shows up on that night's sales report. When your property management system freezes at check-in, it shows up in guest reviews. Hospitality uptime isn't an IT metric. It's an operating metric.

How we handle it
24/7 proactive monitoring on every critical system. Same-day onsite dispatch when remote resolution isn't enough. Documented incident response playbooks that know the difference between "the office printer is jammed" and "the dining room POS is down."

02

Every location has to feel identical.

A customer walking into your Tampa site shouldn't have a different experience than one walking into your Dallas site. Menu boards behave the same. Wi-Fi is named the same. Guest experience is consistent. That only happens when IT is standardized, not improvised per-location.

How we handle it
Standardized Newgentek build at every site: same core stack, same security posture, same naming conventions, same support runbook. New locations get the same configuration as the ones already in the ground.

03

You don't have on-site IT — and you don't want to.

Staffing IT at every location is a non-starter for most hospitality operators. Costs don't pencil, staff turnover is too high, and your people aren't IT people. They're operators. What you need is a partner that operates remotely by default and shows up in person when remote won't do it.

How we handle it
Remote Monitoring and Management as the default layer. Single support number for every location. Onsite dispatch for the 10% of issues that require hands on hardware: by our team in Florida, by vetted partners we manage directly elsewhere. No random ticket queues.

04

Costs have to be predictable per site.

Hospitality economics live on per-location P&L. Surprise IT bills break budgets. Your IT partner has to be as predictable as your rent line.

How we handle it
Flat-rate monthly pricing per location and per covered device. Hardware refresh cycles built into the agreement. No pay-per-ticket billing. No "truck roll" fees. You know what you're paying each month, and you know what's covered.

05

Openings don't move.

Grand opening dates are fixed. Rent starts. Marketing is already booked. If the technology isn't ready on the date, it isn't getting pushed. You're opening without it.

How we handle it
A multi-site rollout playbook built specifically for hospitality opens. Cabling and low-voltage self-performed on-schedule. AV, network, POS, and security provisioned in parallel. We've opened locations on-date for multi-unit operators across the country, and we know how to coordinate with your GC, FF&E delivery schedule, and pre-opening training.

What we handle for multi-unit operators.

  • Managed IT Services — Helpdesk, security, infrastructure, vCIO across every location.
  • POS coordination and support management — We manage your POS environment end-to-end: network, integrations, vendor escalation, and on-the-ground support. You get one number to call, regardless of which platform you run.
  • Multi-site rollout playbook — Standardized openings from site survey through commissioning.
  • Guest and back-of-house Wi-Fi — Segmented networks, captive portals, guest-grade performance.
  • Digital menu boards and signage — Cloud-managed, centrally updated across sites.
  • CCTV and physical security — IP camera systems standardized across every location.
  • Cabling and AV for new buildouts — Self-performed and licensed in Florida; coordinated with our national partner network elsewhere. On your GC schedule either way.
  • Franchise and corporate coordination — Complying with brand standards while operating efficiently.

Operators who run on Newgentek.

Restaurant groups, hotels, and multi-location retailers across Tampa Bay and nationally. From single-site refreshes to nationwide managed services agreements, the same team handles every engagement.

I hired Newgentek to help standardize our organization's technology landscape. We acquired multiple companies with locations throughout the US. We needed a proven vendor who could implement a strategy to convert a disparate technology landscape into a standard model. They delivered — and added significant value and valuation to the organization. Ryan S., Vice President, Information Technology

How engagements work.

Ongoing managed services
Flat-rate monthly per location and per device. You know what you're paying and what's covered. Scales as you add sites.

Project-based work
New locations, buildouts, AV installs, all priced against a detailed scope with every line item visible. No surprise change orders unless scope actually changes.

Multi-site rollouts
We scope the full program up front: site survey, standardized bill of materials, installation and commissioning schedule, go-live and cutover. Priced as a program, executed per-site.
