Complete IT for growing businesses. One in-house Tampa team.

Tampa businesses with 10–500 people rely on Newgentek for help desk, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and strategic IT guidance — whether they have no IT team or an internal team stretched thin.

Who this page is for.

We're deliberate about fit. Here's how to tell if Newgentek is right for you.

You're in the right place if…

  • ✓You run a 10–500 person business in Tampa Bay, the Southeast, or wherever your operation reaches.
  • ✓You have no internal IT, or a small team stretched thin covering too much ground.
  • ✓Your current IT costs are unpredictable and you're tired of surprise bills.
  • ✓You've been through a vendor that stopped returning calls, and you're not repeating it.
  • ✓You're planning growth: new offices, acquisitions, or headcount, and your tech stack needs to keep up.

Probably not the right fit if…

  • —You need someone to fix one laptop, one time. That's break/fix, not what we do.
  • —You're evaluating primarily on price. We're positioned toward value, not volume.
  • —You have no tolerance for a real onboarding period. Our Discover and Stabilize phases typically take 30–60 days before things feel steady.

What you get with Managed IT Services.

Eight core services, organized the way a real IT department actually operates. No à la carte menus, no surprise add-ons. Everything below is included.

Day-to-Day

24/7 Helpdesk

Live technicians available around the clock. Calls answered in under 60 seconds, average ticket response under 5 minutes. Real people, plain English, answers that actually solve the problem.

Workstation & Server Support

We keep your endpoints patched, secured, and monitored. Automated updates, device health reporting, and proactive maintenance so issues get fixed before they interrupt work.

Network Infrastructure Support

Continuous monitoring of the systems that stop your business when they break. Tools and techniques from the enterprise world, applied at SMB scale.

Automation

User onboarding, offboarding, computer deployments, and repetitive system changes, done in minutes instead of hours. Your new hire is ready to work on day one.

Security

End-User Security

Email security, phishing training and simulation, dark-web monitoring, device controls, and data backups. Your team is your first line of defense, and we make sure they're prepared.

Infrastructure Security

Advanced threat protection paired with around-the-clock managed detection and response. Threats are identified, isolated, and remediated as quickly as possible, usually before you know there was one.

Strategic

vCIO (Virtual Chief Information Officer)

A senior technology leader who works with your leadership on strategy, budget, roadmap, and risk. Quarterly Technology Strategy Checkpoints keep your IT aligned with where the business is going.

Technology Alignment Specialist

Your dedicated engineer who monitors defined standards, drives continuous improvement, reduces reactive ticket volume, and serves as your day-to-day technical point of contact.

Your IT runs on Nexus.

Nexus is Newgentek's managed IT platform — the system behind everything described on this page. Every engagement is built on it, and every client runs on it.

It's structured around two dimensions that reflect how your business actually operates.

Your people

Each employee gets a professionally managed, fully secured computing environment — their device, their security, their email protection, and access to our helpdesk whenever they need it. Covered per user, so cost scales with your headcount, not with guesswork.

Your locations

Each physical site gets professional management of the infrastructure everything else runs on — firewalls, switches, and wireless access points — monitored and maintained so the network your people depend on stays reliable and secure.

Most clients run both together. Some need coverage for shared workstations, email-only users, or mobile devices. The right configuration is something we work through during the assessment — before you commit to anything.

Already have internal IT? We can co-manage.

For teams that want to offload day-to-day helpdesk, infrastructure, and security monitoring while their own IT leadership focuses on strategy, roadmap, and business-critical projects.

You keep your IT team. We back them up with 24/7 coverage, specialized tooling, and the senior engineering depth that's hard to maintain in-house at SMB scale.

How co-managed typically works: Your team handles strategic projects and internal escalations. Our team handles helpdesk tickets, after-hours coverage, patching, monitoring, and specialized infrastructure work. Scope is defined up front and adjusted as you grow.

How we price.

Flat-rate, per-seat Managed Services. You know what you're paying each month,

and you know exactly what's included.

No surprise bills. No junk line items. No pay-per-ticket schemes that reward slow response. Before you commit, we send you a clear proposal with everything priced out: hardware, services, licenses, and any one-time project costs.

We're not the cheapest MSP you'll find. We're the one you won't replace in 18 months.

90-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

Try us for 90 days. If we don't earn it, we'll refund it.

Changing IT providers shouldn't feel like a gamble. If you're not satisfied for any reason in your first 90 days, we refund every managed services fee you've paid. No contracts to break. No questions asked.

Refund applies to the managed services fees you've paid. Hardware, licenses, and project work are billed separately and aren't part of this guarantee.

That's how confident we are. Still founder-owned. Still Tampa-based.

What our clients say.

Real voices, real relationships.

I hired Newgentek to help standardize our organization's technology landscape. We acquired multiple companies with locations throughout the US. We needed a proven vendor who could advise and implement a strategy to convert a disparate technology landscape into a standard model. They delivered — and added significant value and valuation to the organization.

Ryan S., Vice President, Information Technology

Multi-location standardization·Strategic valuation impact

I've worked with the Newgentek team over and over during the last 8–10 years and there's a reason they keep earning my trust. Their service and industry knowledge is top notch.

Robert F., Vice President, Development / Construction

Repeat engagements·Multiple projects·Still a client

One of the things I like about doing business with them is that they are always improving their service and security for their customers. With Newgentek as our IT provider I can focus on running the business knowing that they are focused on keeping our IT secure.

Questions we hear often.

Are you a Tampa-based managed IT provider?

Yes. Newgentek is headquartered at 5455 W Waters Ave in Tampa, FL and has been since 2017. Our entire team is local — helpdesk, engineers, and field technicians. We serve Tampa Bay businesses directly and support clients with multiple locations across the country from that same Tampa base.

What makes Newgentek different from other Tampa MSPs?

Three things most Tampa MSPs can't offer together: an in-house field team that does IT, AV, and low-voltage cabling under one roof; a founder who still runs the company and answers the phone; and a flat-rate pricing model with no surprise bills. Most of the MSP market in Tampa has been acquired by private equity in the last five years. We're deliberately independent.

What size company is this right for?

Typically 10–500 employees. Our sweet spot is 25–250 employees: companies large enough to need real IT infrastructure and small enough to benefit from a partner rather than an internal department.

Do you work with companies that already have IT staff?

Yes. That's our co-managed model. Your team handles strategy and internal escalations; we handle day-to-day helpdesk, after-hours coverage, and specialized work. Scope is defined up front.

How long before we see results?

First 30 days are Discover and Stabilize. We're learning your environment and quietly fixing the things that have been breaking. Most clients feel a noticeable difference in responsiveness and ticket volume within the first 60 days. Strategic roadmap impact shows up in months 3–6 through the vCIO engagement.

What tools do you use?

Industry-standard managed IT tooling, and we're happy to walk through specifics in a 15-min call. Wherever possible, we integrate with tools you already use rather than forcing migration. We're vendor-agnostic on productivity, identity, and business applications.

What are your contract terms?

Most of our managed services agreements run 36 months. The longer term lets us invest in your environment over time, with proper roadmap, planned upgrades, and real strategic work, instead of optimizing for a 12-month renewal cycle. Pricing reflects the term commitment. After the initial term, agreements move to annual renewal.

What compliance standards do you support?

HIPAA for healthcare clients, PCI for retail/hospitality, SOC-aware environments for professional services. We're not a dedicated compliance consultancy, but we work alongside your compliance partners and implement the technology controls your auditors require.

How does onboarding work?

Day 1–7: Discovery. We inventory your environment, identify risks, meet your team. Day 8–30: Stabilize. We deploy our monitoring, security, and management tools and remediate the highest-priority findings from Discovery. Day 31–60: Support ramps to full operational. Ticket volume stabilizes, response times hit target, your team knows who to call.

What happens if we need to leave?

You own your data, your documentation, and your vendor relationships. We'll transition everything cleanly to whoever's taking over. We've been doing this long enough that we've never made a departure difficult, and we don't plan to start.

Ready to talk?

15 minutes. No pitch. Just a conversation about what's working and what isn't. If we're a fit, great. If not, we'll tell you who might be a better match.
