Founder & CEO

Chon Nguyen

A Tampa Bay native, Chon has been building technology businesses here since high school. He earned his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification at 16, started his first IT business as a teenager, and has been a founder ever since. He co-founded 212 Digital in 2011 — its FusionPrep platform now runs in 3,000+ restaurants nationwide — and is a partner in Proper House Group, which operates Tampa's Michelin Bib Gourmand–winning Rooster & the Till and several of the city's most loved restaurants. He founded Newgentek in 2017.

Born and raised in Tampa Bay, Chon lives here with his wife Megan and their two kids. He serves on the boards of the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA, the Hillsborough Education Foundation, and the CEO Council — work that's part of how he stays invested in the community he grew up in.
