If you're a general contractor, architect, project manager, or interior designer, you're not hiring us to be your managed IT provider. You're hiring us to hit a schedule, coordinate with trades, show up on punch walks, and not create problems for your project.
We've delivered low voltage, AV, and workplace technology on projects with HOK, Flad Architects, Ellison Development, DRMP, Gerardi Construction, Park & Eleazer, Sinclair, and dozens of other A/E/C firms across Tampa Bay and nationally. We know how to read construction documents, answer RFIs quickly, attend OAC meetings, and stay out of your critical path.
Pre-construction support — design review, equipment specification, and budget estimates provided to the GC and owner early in the process.
Self-performed low voltage and cabling — we pull the permits, run our own field team, close our own inspections.
Coordinated install sequencing — when we're doing both cabling and AV, we sequence the work ourselves so one trade doesn't block the other.
Closeout documentation — as-builts, warranty packages, and an ongoing service agreement handed to the owner at turnover.

What happens after the install?
Most AV integrators finish the install, hand you a remote, and disappear. A year later, something breaks, and you're finding a new vendor to come fix it.
We do it differently. Every workplace technology install comes with an optional service agreement: ongoing support, monitoring, and proactive maintenance from the same team that installed it.
If you're also a Managed IT client, workplace tech folds into the same relationship under one agreement and one support number.

How we price.
Projects
Priced against a detailed scope: design and engineering, equipment, installation labor, cabling, programming, commissioning, and closeout. You get a clear proposal with every line item before you commit. No surprise change orders unless scope actually changes.
Ongoing service
Priced per-room or per-system, flat-rate monthly. You know what you're paying each month, and you know exactly what's covered. No junk fees. No pay-per-truck-roll schemes.

Do you have your own cabling crews, or do you subcontract?
We have our own in-house field team, and we hold the Florida Limited Energy Systems Specialty License (#ES12001614). We pull our own permits and self-perform the work. On larger projects we occasionally augment our team with trusted partners, but Newgentek owns the accountability for the work either way.
What kinds of projects do you typically work on?
Office buildouts (new construction and tenant improvements), conference room refreshes, multi-site technology standardization, AV upgrades, cabling infrastructure, and ongoing workplace technology support. Projects range from single-room refreshes to multi-floor corporate offices to nationwide multi-site rollouts.
Do you work directly with owners, or with general contractors?
Both. We work directly with business owners and facilities leads on in-place projects, and we work with GCs, architects, and project managers on new construction and major renovations. Our processes are built to fit either model.
What's your service area?
Headquartered in Tampa, we serve Tampa Bay and Central Florida as our primary market. We also support multi-site clients with locations throughout the Southeast and nationally. We self-perform in Florida; for work outside the state, we coordinate with our national partner network. Same scope, same standards, one accountable team.
Can you do multi-site rollouts?
Yes. Standardized rollouts across multiple locations are a core capability. We've done nationwide deployments for multi-unit operators and regional deployments for institutional clients. Same design, same standards, same accountability at every site.
Do you support existing systems you didn't install?
Usually yes, depending on the system. We'll evaluate what you have, document it, and propose a service arrangement. Some legacy or heavily customized systems don't integrate well with our tooling. We'll tell you that upfront rather than over-promise.
Can you retrofit an existing space?
Yes. Most of our work is in existing spaces: offices that are growing, renovating, or finally getting the technology they should have had from the start. We're experienced at working around active operations with minimal disruption.
How long does a typical project take?
Single conference room refresh: typically 2–4 weeks from proposal to commissioning. Multi-room office buildout: 8–16 weeks, often overlapping with GC construction schedule. Multi-site rollout: scoped per the client's rollout timeline.
